Request Education Session

What it is

Our Cyber Awareness & Education service provides clear, accessible guidance on the digital threats that affect everyday people. From phishing emails and social engineering scams to privacy risks and unsafe online habits, we help you understand what to look out for and how to stay safe — in plain English, tailored to your level of knowledge and your specific situation.

Who it helps

UK students, individuals new to online safety, small organisations wanting to support their staff, and anyone who wants to understand the digital risks they face without needing a technical background. We explain things clearly, patiently, and at your pace.

Why it matters

Most cyber incidents happen not because of sophisticated attacks, but because people simply didn't know what to look for. Education is the most powerful and cost-effective form of cyber protection available — and it should be accessible to everyone.

Our ethical commitment

All educational content is based on publicly available, verified information. We never use fear tactics or exaggerate risks. Our goal is to empower, not alarm. You will always leave a session feeling more informed and more confident.

02

Request a Confidential Investigation

What it is

If you've received a suspicious message, email, phone call, or encountered a questionable website or social media account, AICMP can investigate using ethical, legal, open-source methods. We review the evidence you provide carefully and produce a clear, honest assessment of whether the activity appears fraudulent — and what you should do next. Every investigation is handled personally.

Who it helps

Individuals who have received suspicious communications, people who believe they may have been targeted by scammers, small organisations concerned about fraudulent activity, and anyone seeking clarity on a digital situation they're unsure about. You don't need to be certain something is wrong to reach out — if it doesn't feel right, we'll help you understand why.

Why it matters

Scams and fraud are among the most common and damaging digital threats facing UK residents today. The impact is not just financial — it can be deeply distressing. Having an independent, professional assessment can help you make informed decisions, report to the right authorities, and protect yourself and others.

Our ethical commitment

We use only information you provide and publicly available sources. We do not access private accounts, intercept communications, or use any unlawful methods. Our findings are presented honestly, including any limitations. We will never tell you what you want to hear — only what we actually found.

Types of Investigation We Conduct

Below is a full list of the investigation types available under our Scam & Fraud Investigation service. Each investigation is conducted personally, using ethical and lawful methods. If your situation does not appear below, please get in touch — we will always do our best to help.

Phishing & Email Scam Investigation

An investigation into suspicious emails that attempt to trick you into clicking a link, providing personal details, or making a payment. We analyse the email headers, sender information, links, and content to determine whether it is a phishing attempt and who may be behind it.

What's included

  • Analysis of email headers and sender origin
  • Investigation of any links or domains contained in the email
  • Assessment of whether the email impersonates a legitimate organisation
  • Guidance on whether to report to Action Fraud or your email provider

Phone & SMS Scam Investigation

An investigation into suspicious phone calls, voicemails, or text messages (including 'smishing' — SMS phishing). We assess the number, the message content, and any links or instructions provided to determine whether the communication is fraudulent.

What's included

  • Review of the phone number or SMS sender ID
  • Analysis of any links, websites, or instructions in the message
  • Assessment of known scam patterns (HMRC, bank, parcel delivery, etc.)
  • Guidance on blocking, reporting, and protecting yourself

Fake Website Investigation

An investigation into a website you suspect may be fraudulent, cloned, or designed to deceive. This includes fake shops, impersonation sites, and websites that mimic legitimate brands. We assess the site's registration, hosting, content, and indicators of fraud.

What's included

  • Domain registration and WHOIS analysis
  • Assessment of site content, design, and legitimacy indicators
  • Comparison with the genuine organisation being impersonated
  • Guidance on reporting to the NCSC, Trading Standards, or domain registrars

Impersonation & Identity Fraud Investigation

An investigation into a situation where someone is impersonating you, a person you know, or a legitimate organisation online. This includes fake social media profiles, fraudulent accounts using your identity, and individuals pretending to be someone they are not.

What's included

  • Identification and documentation of the impersonating account or profile
  • Assessment of the extent and impact of the impersonation
  • Evidence gathering to support a report to the platform or authorities
  • Guidance on reporting to the relevant social media platform, Action Fraud, or police

Romance Scam Investigation

An investigation into a suspected romance scam — where someone online has built a relationship with you (or someone you know) and is now requesting money, personal information, or other assistance. These scams can be deeply personal and distressing. We handle all cases with sensitivity and care.

  • Review of the individual's profile, photos, and communications
  • Reverse image search and identity verification checks
  • Assessment of known romance scam patterns and red flags

What's included

  • Review of the seller's profile, listings, and communications
  • Assessment of the platform and any available seller information
  • Identification of known scam patterns on marketplaces (eBay, Facebook, Gumtree, etc.)
  • Guidance on reporting to the platform, your bank, and Action Fraud

  • Identification of known investment scam patterns and red flags
  • Guidance on reporting to the FCA, Action Fraud, and your bank

What's included

  • Review of the account's profile, history, and activity
  • Assessment of the message or post content and links
  • Identification of known social media scam patterns
  • Guidance on reporting to the platform and protecting your account

Job & Employment Scam Investigation

An investigation into a suspected fake job offer, fraudulent recruitment agency, or employment scam — including situations where you have been asked to pay for training, equipment, or a DBS check upfront, or where the job offer seems too good to be true.

What's included

  • Assessment of the company, recruiter, or job listing's legitimacy
  • Review of the company's registration and online presence
  • Identification of known job scam patterns and red flags
  • Guidance on reporting to Action Fraud, ACAS, or the relevant job platform

  • Assessment of the sender's account and any available identifying information
  • Guidance on whether to engage, pay, or report
  • Referral to specialist support organisations where appropriate

What's included

  • Review of the account activity and any available breach indicators
  • Assessment of likely attack vectors (phishing, credential stuffing, etc.)
  • Guidance on securing your accounts and changing credentials

Digital Risk Assessment

Understand your exposure before someone else does.

Who this helps

  • Privacy-conscious individuals
  • Small businesses & startups
  • Journalists & activists
  • Anyone who has experienced a data breach
Request a Personal Assessment

What it is

Our Digital Risk Assessment service reviews your online presence and digital footprint to identify potential vulnerabilities, privacy risks, and areas of exposure. We produce a clear, actionable report that explains what we found and what you can do about it — written specifically for you, not copied from a template. Every assessment is tailored to your individual situation.

Who it helps

Individuals concerned about their online privacy, small organisations wanting to understand their digital security posture, people who have experienced a breach or suspect their information has been compromised, and anyone who wants a clear, honest picture of their digital risk. You don't need to be technical to benefit from this service.

Why it matters

Many people are unaware of how much of their personal information is publicly accessible online, or how that information could be used against them. A Digital Risk Assessment gives you the knowledge to take control — and the confidence to act.

Our ethical commitment

All assessments are conducted using publicly available information and ethical OSINT techniques. We do not access private systems, accounts, or data. All findings are shared only with you, and handled with strict confidentiality. Your privacy is protected throughout.

04

OSINT-Based Intelligence Reports

Informed decisions, built on open intelligence.

Who this helps

  • Businesses & organisations
  • Journalists & researchers
  • Legal professionals
  • Individuals seeking clarity
Request Intelligence Report

What it is

Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) involves gathering and analysing information from publicly available sources — websites, social media, public records, news, and more. AICMP produces professional intelligence reports using these methods to provide lawful, ethical insight into digital risks, threats, and situations. Every report is written specifically for your case and presented in plain, accessible language.

Who it helps

Individuals and organisations who need a structured, professional assessment of a digital situation, journalists and researchers who need verified open-source intelligence, small businesses assessing the legitimacy of a potential partner or supplier, and anyone who needs clear intelligence from publicly available sources — without the jargon.

Why it matters

In an information-rich world, the ability to gather, verify, and interpret publicly available intelligence is a powerful tool for protection. OSINT reports give you structured, professional insight without the need for unlawful methods — and without the corporate price tag.

Our ethical commitment

Every OSINT report produced by AICMP is based exclusively on legally and ethically obtained, publicly available information. We do not engage in any form of hacking, social engineering, or unlawful data collection. All reports are produced in compliance with UK law and presented with full transparency about our methods.
